About Splinter Pig Woodworks

Splinter Pigs Woodworks is a boutique wood crafting business specializing in kitchen and lifestyle items for your home. Each piece is designed in-house and hand crafted from beautiful materials. Every piece is unique and shaped by hand. The wood is selected with care to support the appearance and function of the piece.

I am Bob Freeman, owner of Splinter Pig Woodworks. I’ve been making things in the shop my whole life. My dad Sam had a shop wherever we lived and I spent hours there learning how to use the tools and work with materials. Now, I carry the tradition forward and have my own workshop that is part of the intentional community where I live with my wife Shawna, her parents, and over a dozen other families. It’s an eco-village! I love designing and making all kinds of things out of wood and other materials. My motto is: Everything is a material. Everything is a tool. Let me make you something!
