This hardwood spreading knife can be used for spreading all kinds of ingredients. Mayo, mustard, and other sauces. The interesting thing is that we sharpen it to a nice edge so you can use it to scoop out an avocado. Open the avocado in half with a regular kitchen knife and remove the pit. Then using the avocado knife, scoop the fruit out by working around the edges. The knife easily slices the flesh, but not the skin so it won’t break through and cut your hand. The knives are sold singly – they don’t include any stands or other items from the photos.
