Our cooking spoons are made to last and look beautiful for years. They are shaped and smoothed by hand and then we carve out the bowl to a pleasing shape. The bottom of the spoon – right where the handle meets the bowl – has a built-in spoon rest. You can set the spoon down and the bowl will not touch the counter. It will probably drip, though. To keep that off the counter, you should consider our Handmade Hardwood Spoon Rest. Wood utensils are gentle to non-stick surfaces.
